Meredith,
ReplyDeleteI think it is great that you're doing this. I've only read eight of those, and as I was perusing the other comprehensive lists, I realized that I had quite a ways to go if I want to say I have seriously sampled what is available. I think I'll just bookmark these as reading lists.
Thanks for posting....I always like to see other people's P&P fanfiction lists.
ReplyDeleteI'm off to Amazon again - I wonder if I can find a copy of The Strange Marriage of Anne de Bourgh (you may remember that I adored Conviction - did you discuss this work in your interview with Ms. Burris?) and The Bennets? Any ideas on where to find a copy of Wickham's Treachery?
ReplyDeleteAgain, Meredith, I must reiterate how much I adore these lists. It's like Christmas in summer. Thank you!
I can't believe how many P&P inspired books there are. I need to get reading!
ReplyDeleteThank you, ladies! I am glad that you found this list helpeful!
ReplyDelete- Alexa: I believe The Strange Marriage of Anne de Bourgh is only available on Kindle. Kate Warren's books used to only be available on lulu.com. I am very interested in reading a P&P prequel!
I *CAN* believe how many there are, and still aren't enough, IMO! It's a mere fraction of what I see online, many of which I wish would be published. I only wish it were easier to differentiate the styles of stories so it would be easier to know which ones a given fan would prefer.
ReplyDeleteHi Meredith, I would like to thank you for this blog! There are so many books related to Jane that's impossible to read all of them!
ReplyDeleteI just wrote a post about your blog, please visit us:

ReplyDeleteThe Pamela Aidan trilogy remains my favorite--I still think she captured my Mr. Darcy very well.
ReplyDeletefinding soooo many new reads thru your resourcefulness Meredith! great #Austenesque Extravaganza help too!
